General Duty worm farms for Farmers and Recyclers

This is a very exciting unit which is designed to allow the harvesting of vermileachate (worm wee) and vermicompost (wormcasts) on a larger scale. Basically consisting of a strong plastic sheet, with suitable weather protection and drainage to permit leachate collection.

It is easy to operate, cheap to install and can be expanded in line with your available waste destined for worm food.

It may be installed at ground level or we recommend slightly raised to make for easy operation. There are several options as to location and installation based on this design.

All units are delivered with a Profile, Plastic Sheet, Plastic Sheeting, Insulating Material, Drainage Gutter, and skirting with Assembling, Commissioning and Maintenance Instructions.

Vermicomposter for Gardeners

Replaces the compost heap and rapidly deals with your garden waste – processing the kitchen waste at the same time.
Can be operated at ground level but we recommend surrounding the unit with logs or cement blocks, half filling the area to enclose with soil and thus bringing the unit to an easier operating height. Highly recommended for the serious gardener.

What is Worm Wee?

Worm Wee is a slang name for the liquid that is produced when worms work on organic matter.

Worm Wee (Plantonic) contains most of the vital nutrients your plants need for optimal growth. It is an outstanding tonic to feed and revitalise your garden, vegetable patch or farm!
 

What are Worm Casts?

Worm casts are the result when compost or organic matter has been digested and worked by worms.
 

    Using Worm Wee
 

For the Garden

Dilute 50 parts water to 1 part Worm Wee and apply (using a sprayer bottle or watering can) around the base of your plants.
 

For Pot Plants
Dilute 10 parts water to 1 part Worm Wee and apply around the base of your plants.
